If you run the appliance for 10 hours a day to cool the water down by 10 degrees, at an average electricity price of 30 cents per kWh, this results in costs of around 90 cents per day.
What are the electricity costs for cooling the water?
Of course, this always depends on the initial temperature and target temperature of the water, as well as the ambient temperature. The pool also plays a decisive role due to the insulation.
Polar Fox Barrel and Polar Fox Tub:
In summer
If you cool the water down to 5 degrees in summer, the water will have a temperature of approx. 10-13 degrees the next day. To cool the water back down to 6 degrees, the Arctic Cool needs about 3 hours, as it can cool the water by 2-3 degrees per hour.
During these three hours, the Arctic Cool consumes approx. 2.1 kWh. At a normal electricity price of 30 cents per kWh, this corresponds to around 60 cents.

What can I set with the app control?
With the app control, you can conveniently start and switch off the Arctic Cool from anywhere. You can also set the desired temperature.
Routines can also be created. For example, you can set the times at which the appliance should switch on on which days of the week and when it should switch off again.
Can the Arctic Cool Mini also be used outdoors?
YES!
The Arctic Cool Mini and all pools can of course also be used outdoors. However, we recommend protecting the Arctic Cool Mini from heavy rain from above. This can be achieved, for example, by placing a small side table over the Arctic Cool Mini. It is important to leave the sides of the cooling unit free so that the Arctic Cool Mini gets enough air to cool the water.
Here is the link to our recommendation: Side table for Arctic Cool Mini from the video
Are the pools also mini?
No!
The basins are the same as those used individually or as a set with the large cooling unit, the Mini in the name only refers to the cooling unit.
