Want cold water faster? The Arctic Cool Basic 2 delivers. With 1130 watts of cooling power, it quickly cools your pool down to 3°C – significantly faster than its predecessor with 800 watts. In short: more power. The cooling capacity has been increased from 800 to 1130 watts. The water now cools down by up to 1.8°C per hour – compared to a maximum of 1.2°C for the previous model. It might not sound like much, but it makes a real difference if you want to jump into 3-degree water at 6 a.m. Plus, it boasts a fresh new design. The washable metal filter remains – no more annoying replacement filters to buy.

⚡ Basic 2 vs. Basic – is the upgrade worth it?

It depends. If you use the ice bath daily and don't want to wait forever for the water to get cold: yes. You'll notice the 40% increase in cooling power especially in summer.
